We are not of this World
Heaven is our home we got saved, we became a new creature, that is seated with Christ in Heavenly places and can also walk in the earth simultaneously.... thats weird if you didn't realise.
Thats strange, think about it... we are more than just a restored fallen man, we are a new creature.
The Bible says that Jesus gave gifts to His church, and we call them the ascension gifts.
Apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers. Also known as the five fold ministries. These were to equip the saints for the work of the ministry, until each one became mature into Christ.
So everyone is called to full time ministry, the five fold ministers are to get you moving in the ministries, have them formed in you, so you can do the job. You may then wonder who are the five fold ministers? and how do I know they are one of them.
Well a good test is that they produce replicants of themselves, if evangelists, they make people better at being evangelists etc... but a better way of knowing if they are a five fold minister is that they bring people to experience Heavens reality for themselves. This can be being anointed, drunk in the spirit etc...
Sometimes people who are good evangelists try to do ministry with the saints, but clearly they don't make people better at being evangelists, so they most likely aren't actually a five fold ministry. More likely they were somehow raised by someone who was.
Having an ascension gift is not from studies or Bible college training, it is a supernatural experience that occurs, and the person is well aware that they have been given a gift. Normally supernatural oil is used in dedicating an individual with a gift or office.
You don't have one if you have not had this happen. Its an experience.
Now the Bible says we don't need teachers, even though, Jesus gave us teachers. So why does it say this?
It says we don't need anyone to teach us because we have the anointing which teaches us. This is the goal of the five fold ministries... to bring people into the anointing so they don't need them anymore. When believers are brought into Gods presence and His anointing, God teaches them. Intimacy is the goal.
All five fold ministries are to equip the body of Christ for ministry and to become mature in Christ. Grow up in Him. There is an end to this!
Five fold ministries were not forever for a believer, they are to get you up and going. True five fold ministries try to get you focussed on God vision and will for your life, and so that everyone is hearing directly from the King.
New Covenant is not like the Old Covenant model... where the people tell Moses to go up the mountain and hear from God. New Covenant is where all the people are encouraged to go up the mountain and hear themselves.
God has a vision and purpose for your life, and five fold ministers want you to grow into that as fast as possible. To release people to do the work of the ministry.
Intimacy with God is the highest priority, above everything else. Ministries goal is that very thing.
Five fold ministers should be so soaked in Gods presence, that they are literally out of their minds... and in Heaven. The aim of Christian ministry is to be totally filled with Gods presence and this means we will be different!
We will not be normal... Christians who are so filled with God, are usually incapable of much. They seem drunk, stoned even. But what is actually happening is far greater in the spirit than what we see in the flesh.
From our natural eyes, it seems silly, but from Gods perspective, it is His people drawing near to Him. There is a point where Christians will begin to transform, where their earthly body will be fused with the anointing from Heaven.
By staying in the bliss of Heaven, or glory, or drunk on Gods wine for long periods will cause the earth around them to do weird things, like let them walk on water etc.
Infusion of the anointing from Heaven into this realm sounds strange for some, but read your Bible. Some of the saints in the scriptures had so much anointing on them, dead people came back to life after touching them.
There is actually no limit to how anointed a person can become, some will have so much anointing eventually that a force field will be around them, repelling people from getting near.
Weird things will happen the more anointing you stay in:
- Walk through walls - Jesus did it
- Fly - Jesus did it, and many saints through church history
- Walk on water
- Levitate off the ground - this is very common in church history
- Have fire come out of your body
- Have gold dust fall on you
- Animals will talk to you
- Nature will obey you
- Your shadow will heal people
Every supernatural occurrence in the Bible is possible, when you stay connected to the Holy Spirit.
So I encourage you to be weird, get into the river, become a river rat... fully immersed in the river of Gods Spirit, get drunk on God new wine. Stay in the anointing!
